Well SPAM™ Fans, that's it...We have a winner of the 2010 SPAM® Cook of the Year competition!

Beating off an array of amazing SPAM®-inspired recipes, your newly crowned SPAM® Cook of the Year is Shannon Stenning from Burgess Hill with her SPAM® Rosti recipe!

Shannon was chosen as the overall champion at the final cook-off at London’s Good Housekeeping Institute, thanks to her creative culinary skills and delicious recipe.

We knew it would be a close contest, but Phil Vickery and his panel of judges ate their way through each of the six finalists' dishes to finally reveal their winner.

Shannon's tasty and original SPAM® Rosti has won her the top prize of a luxurious two night stay for two at an exclusive Oxford Hotels and Inns location, complete with a spa treatment, breakfast and dinner.

Shannon will now see her dish go onto inspire a dish on the menu at one of Oxford Hotels and Inns' restaurants - how exciting! Plus, Shannon has taken home a brand new iPod Touch with £50 to spend on applications!

Also celebrating success are the two runners up, Chris Bailey from Cheltenham with his SPAM® Galettes recipe and Emma Robson from Great Yarmouth with her SPAM™MOUSSE and Melba Toast dish.

Both Chris and Emma have won a one night stay for two with breakfast at their choice of Oxford Hotels and Inns' excellent locations.

All of the finalists cooked up a storm and a good time was had by all, so a huge well done goes out to our other regional finalists – Jane Graham, Mark Andrew and Vicky Ashley, thanks for entering!
