Spring has finally arrived, meaning that we are truly in the heart of the 2010 SPAM® Cook of the Year competition. Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun?! The entries are still coming in by the baker’s dozen and you’re certainly not failing to impress me with your innovative and mouth-watering ideas!
On the judging front, I will soon be able to make a very exciting announcement when I reveal who the esteemed panel of fellow SPAM™ lovers are! Rest assured that only the best are being selected to help me make that all important decision of who will be crowned SPAM® Cook of the Year 2010.
To make sure you’re ahead of the game when the mystery judges are revealed, follow the official Twitter page and hear the news first! I can tell you however, that with such an abundance of high profile SPAM™ fans hoping to get involved, we’ll be stuck for choice! My lips are sealed for now though…
Remember the competition deadline is 31st August so you have plenty of time to upload your creations via the website – www.spam-uk.com/coty – and be in with the chance to win some amazing prizes. The overall winner will receive a luxurious two night stay at an exclusive Oxford Hotels and Inns location in addition to a spa treatment, breakfast and dinner – so it won’t just be our panel living the high life!
Plus, don’t forget that the winning recipe will also form the basis of a dish on one of the hotel restaurant’s menus meaning that culinary fame will be yours too!
