Time to turn up the heat – only one month to go!

Hello there everybody!

I bring important news… there’s just one month left to enter the SPAM® Cook of the Year competition!

I know it’s come around quickly, but hopefully this means that you’ve had plenty of time to develop a new tasty recipe and are feeling confident in reaching the regional final!

Now really is the time to enter if you want to be in with the chance of achieving culinary glory and I can’t stress enough how easy it is. Simply go to the Cook of the Year page on the website – www.spam-uk.com/coty – and enter your recipe. All we need you to provide us with is the method and ingredients! If you want to show us how fantastic your dish looks, there’s an option to add an image or video too, but it’s not a necessity.

You only have until 31st August, so I recommend you do it sooner rather than later if you want to win some of the great prizes on offer. Here’s a little refresher of what’s up for grabs…

The overall winner will receive:

  • A meet and greet with yours truly and the prestigious judging panel at the final cook-off, including an all expenses paid trip to London
  • A two night stay for two including dinner, breakfast and a luxury spa treatment courtesy of Oxford Hotels and Inns
  • Culinary fame when the winning recipe goes on to inspire a dish on one of Oxford Hotel’s and Inns’ restaurant menus
  • An i-Pod Touch!
