Time is now up for entering this year’s SPAM® Cook of the Year competition and the public vote is officially underway! If you haven’t managed to upload a recipe, please don’t feel left out because we need you!
The budding chefs behind the recipes that accumulate the most votes will be whisked off to the grand final in October, so we need you to choose your favourites! One finalist from each of the seven regions will come along to the big cook-off at London’s Good Housekeeping Institute, where I’ll be ready with my knife and fork, and of course my fellow judges to pick the overall winner. It’s so exciting!
Remember, the vote is completely down to you, the public. All you have to do is look through the online gallery at www.spam-uk.com, pick which recipe you think is the best and vote by clicking on it. It’s really that quick and easy, just like SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham!
If you find it difficult to narrow your choice down to just one creative concoction, remember you can actually cast your vote as many times as you like! So, if you end up feeling torn between a few different tasty treats, you can essentially vote for them all!
You have until Friday 17th September to encourage everyone you know to log onto the website and vote for your recipe, or the one that you would like to see scoop the title. That’s two whole weeks from today, giving all entrants the chance to receive countless votes, so make sure you spread the word like margarine on a SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham sandwich!
