SPAM® and Chive Sushi


  • 1 x 340g can of SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham, cut into eight even slices
  • 1 x bag of soft white or sushi rice
  • Chopped Chives
  • 8 x small seaweed slices or alternative garnish such as cucumber, spring onion curls or pickled ginger
  • Soy Sauce (for dipping)


  1. Trim the slices of SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham to chosen size.
  2. Fry on both sides until slightly crispy.
  3. Shape cooked white rice and pat down ready to place SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham on top.
  4. Place chopped chives then SPAM® slice on top of the rice.
  5. Garnish with seaweed, spring onion or picked ginger.
  6. Serve and enjoy with soy sauce.
