Classic SPAM® Potato Salad


  • 71g chopped dill pickles
  • 41gp diced cooked carrot
  • 2 tbsp dill pickle brine
  • 13g finely chopped onion
  • 72g thawed frozen peas
  • 1 x 340g of SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham cut into cubes
  • 172g mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 6 medium potatoes


  1. In large pot of boiling water, cook potatoes until tender; drain. Cool slightly; peel. Cool to room temperature; cut into 1/2-inch cubes.
  2. In large bowl, combine SPAM® and potatoes. Add carrot, peas, pickles and onion; gently toss.
  3. In separate bowl, stir together mayonnaise, pickle brine and mustard; gently stir into SPAM® mixture; cover. Refrigerate several hours before serving.
