SPAM® Cheese Toastie


  • Half a 340g tin of SPAM® Chopped Pork (or 1x 200g tub), cut into 3 slices
  • 1 slice of mild cheddar cheese
  • Two slices of granary or good white bread
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • A little pickle or chutney (optional)


  1. Pre-Heat a griddle pan or toasting machine.
  2. Grill or dry fry the slices of SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham.
  3. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Spread the other sides with a little butter or Dijon mustard or a little pickle/chutney.
  5. Lay the SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham on one slice of the bread and top with the cheese and the other slice of bread and toast in a toaster machine or fry in a griddle pan on both sides, or toast under the grill until hot and the cheese is starting to melt.
  6. Serve with salad.
