SPAM® Yorkshire Breakfast


  • 1 x 340g can of SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham - cut into cubes 1/2” cubes
  • 8 tbsp of Henderson’s Relish
  • 200g plain flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 350ml milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • Pinch of salt and pepper to season
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil


  1. Pre heat the oven to 220C/180C Fan.
  2. Put the flour, salt and pepper into a large bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs and milk together and gradually add to the seasoned flour until you have a smooth batter. Leave to stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  4. Spread ¼ of the SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15/20 minutes until golden brown. Leave to one side and keep warm.
  5. Pour the oil into 8 holes of a deep 12 hole pudding tin, then heat the tin in the oven for 5 minutes.
  6. Carefully ladle the batter into the tin and top each pudding the remaining cubed SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham.
  7. Bake the puddings in the oven for 30 minutes until well risen and the cubes of SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and top each pudding with the extra cooked cubes of SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham.
  9. Drizzle each pudding with a tablespoon of Henderson’s Relish, serve hot and enjoy!
  10. NB: For a quicker recipe, buy ready-made Yorkshire Puddings or use leftover Yorkshires from Sunday Lunch.
